If you want to learn about the basic reminders of the Mexican land history, but do not have much time – our tour is for you. For a short time in the comfort conditions of you'll discover the ancient cities of the Mayas, Aztecs, Olmecs and other tribes that once had inhabited Mexico.

Day 1. Mexico City

Arrival to Mexico City. Meeting at the airport. Transfer to the hotel. Rest.

Day 2. Mexico City

Breakfast at the hotel.

A panoramic tour of the capital of Mexico – Mexico City, a huge metropolis, the giant city, founded by Spanish conquerors on the site of the ancient Aztec capital – Tenochtitlan.
Then you'll see the collection of Anthropological Museum, the largest museum of Latin America, which housed thousands of pieces of ancient civilizations of Mesoamerica: Olmec, Aztec, Zapotec, Mixtec, Maya, etc.
Then you will visit the archaeological site of Teotihuacan, "the place where gods are born". You will climb up the Pyramids of the Sun and the Moon; you’ll admire the Pyramid of Quetzalcoatl – the Feathered Serpent, the most revered god of Mesoamerica.

Return to the hotel. 

Day 3. Mexico City – Villahermosa – Palenque (150 km)

Breakfast at the hotel.

Transfer to the airpot of Mexico City. Flight to Villahermosa. Meeting at the airport. Transfer to Palenque. Accommodation in hotel. Rest.

Day 4. Palenque – Campeche (370 km)

A visit to Palenque. It is the most beautiful city of the Mayas, according to archaeologists around the world. Elegant palaces, pyramids and temples with white lacy ridges rise in the blue skies over green rainforests, like the lost city of legends. The tomb of King Pacal was found in one of the pyramids there.

Moving to Campeche, a colonial city built for a defense against pirates. It is in the UNESCO World Heritage list. On the way to Campeche we will stop at the shore of the Gulf of Mexico, where you’ll have a chance to swim.

Arrival to the city and accommodation at the hotel.

Day 5. Campeche – Uxmal – Merida (165 km)

Breakfast at the hotel.

Uxmal is one of the most important ceremonial centers of the Maya in the Yucatan. It is in the UNESCO World Heritage list. The monuments of here are priceless – the Great Pyramid, the Pyramid of Wizard, well preserved building of the Palace of the ruler, the Temple of Phalluses, the House of Turtles, the stadium for a ball game, the quadrangle of the Monastery and the Pyramid of the Old Witch.

Moving to the city of Merida. The former name of it is T-ho. It is an ancient city with its own traditions where the architecture of Spanish colonists and Europeans is represented, the city with narrow streets and shady parks. White City – Merida is called so because of its mined limestone and the walls of houses painted in white.

Evening walk in one of the first colonial towns in Mexico. Accommodation at the hotel.

Day 6. Merida – Chichen Itza – Cenote Ik Kil – Cancun / Riviera Maya (340 km)

Breakfast. Departure from the hotel.

In the morning, visit to the Cenote Ik Kil and the archaeological site of Chichen Itza.
Chichen Itza is a huge archaeological complex located on the Yucatan Peninsula. Chichen Itza was a major regional center of the Mayan civilization, later conquered and rebuilt by the Toltecs, and thus having many architectural styles. There is a huge number of stone buildings in various states of preservation, many of which have been restored. Dominant center of Chichen Itza is a pyramid of Kukulkan, often referred to a temple.
The tour ends with swimming: after exhausting heat it’s a pleasure to sink into the cool water of the beautiful karst underground Cenote Ik Kil.

Moving to Cancun / Riviera Maya. Accommodation in different hotels.

Hotels can be changed for the hotels of the same category and diet.
In case of reservation DBL +EXB or TRPL many hotels in Mexico provide only two beds queen size! In the excursion program we recommend you to reserve DBL + SNGL!
It is possible to extend the tour for the rest on the coast – on your request.
